Who else is bored? Same Content and Formula...Was SB a waste of money?

Before 4.0 that was possible.
But now with 4.0 the skills that identify nodes are DoL role skills, not crossclass skills anymore.

Disregarding everything else, I will say that Diving gets 0 credit for me unless they revamp the mounts and either separate flying/diving mounts or put some effort into the animations when having birds/clouds dive and a bloody sea-serpent flying.

Since it doesn't even really yield anything new either, it just feels like a lazy, less-interesting rehash of flying. :-/

My only issue with diving is I can't dive anywhere I'd actually want to dive. I don't want to dive in the Ruby Sea. I have a house on the damn beach, let me dive there! I'm at the Mist because I love it!

You... may actually get your wish. I forget which live letter it was, but they mentioned wanting to add swimming to the Mist. The only reason they haven't yet is it wouldn't be fair for The Goblet or Lavender. So they talked about potentially adding spots for them.

I'm with the OP, I feel the same. I can't be arsed about the race for tomes anymore, Savage/super savage is of no interest to me, swimming just turned out to be flying under water (how original), DF is a dump of potion jumpers and generally bad players.

I haven't touched the game for the past 10 days and every time I think of playing it's like...meh? The only things I still enjoy when i'm in the mood for it are crafting and gathering and SOMETIMES PotD

There are a few things I'm looking forward to that are supposed to be coming:
- Eureka (though not caring about the relics)
- Deep Dungeon 2.0

That's it. To be honest, when the information for the expansion made it clear that innovation is one of the lowest priorities, my OH and me were already on the fence about buying SB. We did it in the end but downgrade to the standard version rather than the CE. I'm not sure it was worth it.

What would we do later if Relic would come with 4.0? AFK 24/7? Unacceptable.

I'm so happy that we get recolorable dungeon gear with Moonfire Faire this year. This way non-sheep players can later buy it for real money to support SE and finally make FFXIV profitable, We all know that the reason SE made Nier collab with other company(SEGA) is that they are unable to cover the FFXIV dev cost, SEGA devs are cheaper.

If something is worth the Money I always check about how many hours it kept my occupied while enjoying it.

Even though I soon gonna take a break from FFXIV again (want to do something different and Play other games as well with my limited time) I would never come to the idea to get to the Forums, start a Topic, where I basically would make the Statement: "I have played SB for 200 hours (makes about 20 Cents per hour) - and I think the purchase wasn't worth it!!!"

That just seems ridiculous to me. People These days are so unthankful. Why are so many of you just unable to accept changes in likings and be grateful for what you had up until now? Like "it starts to do not make fun anymore for me, but thanks for all these years of really great time!"?

Casual MMORPG yet there are people who are determined to be elitists in FFXIV XD.

As for me though, I'm finding myself needing some time away from the game otherwise I will be spending 24/7 of my time in Eorzea :S. Everything I want to do, gathering and crafting is very time intensive that I need to force myself away so I can do my own work XD.
