Mmm nope, I've been with a stupid amount of red mages and samurais, only one dps spot open due to my girlfriend always with me on bard, and the pug dps 90% of the time is one of those two, and even the high dps ones can't peel off me. I don't open with berserk, I just spam overpower until I have aggro on a group, or 1-2 rotations of BB on boss. To me it just sounds like people who had it a bit too easy, kinda like how WoW lets you aoe twice and aggro forever nowadays.

This isn't something that needs discussion -- if you don't like what you're doing, don't do it. It's common sense.

You've completely missed the point about the complaints about WHM. The problem of WHM is that:

-We've had like the most abilities removed for the new cross class system and we have 3 less abilities compared to the other healers.

-Out of the new abilities we got, only 1 is noticeably useful and the others need to be ignored to be a good WHM (lilies) or just unreliable to be able to be used in a useful way.

You'd think so, but common sense really isn't that common anymore.

To be honest, the tank (and healer, though I'm less knowledgeable on that subject) exodus is kind of already underway. But, if this thread can help even a single player enjoy their subscription time better, it will have succeeded in my opinion.

Nobody should pay $15 a month to perform what they could see as an obligation.

I for one think it would be much more beneficial to share feedback. The devs have always been careful to listen when there are balance issues. It takes time, but the more people that agree, and actually give CONSTRUCTIVE criticism to them the more likely they'll fix it.

Oh my goodness, the queues are not that bad. XDDD I really feel that this is being blown waaaaay out of proportion.

My wait during early access, with two DPS and no tanks or healers was no more that 15mins and yeah its shot up to about 30mins now as a solo dps, but I'm sure it will settle eventually. There is plenty to do in the over world while waiting. Its far from an exodus. Give people time to level!

What does that have to do with "True tanks"? So what you are saying is that a "true Tank" has to stay Tank even if he hates it? What kind of logic is that?

This is one thousand times more helpful than anything posted in this thread.
CONTINUE to play tanks. Find out what works, what doesn't work, and why it doesn't work. Suddenly playing DPS (or, as the OP admitted rather sheepishly: only tank for your buddies) won't do a damn thing. You'll just be sitting on the sidelines when people who've been gathering actual data make actual arguments and create actual change.

I'm not too sure what was sheepish about my statement. I declared my position and my opinions clearly in the OP.

Also, I have been providing plenty of feedback, but it seems to be a cocktail of people agreeing with me, and people shouting me down for being a DPS player in Tank clothing.

All I've seen from you so far have been approximates. Things like "it's already kind of started" and, "a lot of" etc etc. In order to supply feedback required for a change like this you need hard numbers. If you've supplied those elsewhere, then kudos! That's good! But this thread is not feedback.

I love how main tank warrior feels and ive had to pick up slack on sloppy drks and plds. Over all at 70 I love it. Having to methodically think on how I'm gonna spend my gauge is great and feels good. Ive always liked how Defience has felt and onslaught and upheaval make it feel even better.
