[patch1.20] NO GC Seals to rank up!!!

That may be true, but this is the first time that I have seen it described in detail.

It also does not make it the best way to progressively rank up in their Grand Companies.

How does one earn Rank? By completing missions and quests. If they allow us to convert our earned Guild Marks into GC Seals, then everyone who did leves and earned GM will get GC rank with all of their GC Seals in about 10 seconds.

I don't forseee them exchanging GM for gil when players already have too much gil, but that's just my opinion. That leaves items and company seals.

Indeed I do like the system for ranking up from XI better than this system, but that was just looking from a logical standpoint than just a game standpoint, since logically, you don't buy your ranks in an organization, you earn them but eh that's just my opinion.

At first, I, too, felt like it was a cheap way of earning ranks. However, considering that GC seals are earned through military effort, it makes sense.

But you earn the GC seals by doing services for your GC, so it's the same thing, it just allows for freedom of choice.

Spend your seals wisely or grind some more. It's your choice
