Any DPS that demand to be rescued are just as thick in the head as you are, dude.

If healer trolling is such a big issue, I'm surprised you haven't requested that Fluid Aura be removed from the game yet.

So as a healer, I now have to heal, dps, avoid mechanics And save people from mechanics... The skill shall not see the light of day on my hotbars.

If a healer wants you to die he can just stop healing you. No new skill needed

I can be wrong here, but I seemed to hear on the live letter that this skill would only work on a target with enmity? It would make sense in case a DPS snatches aggro for some reason and gets pulled away from getting smacked in the face until the tank regains aggro. If not for this, then this skill WILL get abused, a lot of times, everytime. xD

Honestly, Ninja can shadewalker the healer, smoke bomb the tank, and no one bats a friggin' eye. Pretty sure that's what will happen in a couple months with Rescue.

Lol I'll mostly use it with friends, pull someone who is far behind the party or pull the tank as he charges at the boss because not everyone is here yet :P

Honest answer:
No, I won't use it as a healer. Unless there are no better abilities or skills to cross role.

I was not aware of that item. Oh please add something like that to Final Fantasy XIV. Just as a safety measure to curb people's paranoia.
