HELP! Lost FC leadership and House furnishing about to disappear! Desperate

OP, can you perhaps promote yourself to a rank that has the required permissions (or is able to edit permissions and grant them)?
Depending on how your FC was set up this is something worth exploring or may be a dead end, alas it's the only thing I can suggest to help you out.

Well, the OP is clearly an active player. The same cannot be said for the "current" FC leader... IMO, the GMs should be able to look at activity, notice the deadlines of demolishment coming up, and do something to mitigate. No reason to be unnecessarily vindictive toward a person's plight.

I've said this before, I can't show sympathy for players that should KNOW how the system works, especially when they are at the top of the FC. The game isn't going to forgive you because of your ignorance. They do say ignorance is bliss though.

Also, I wasn't being vindictive towards the person. When I respond to something, I am telling them the cold hard truth. Not going to sit here and tell them everything is sunny and the clouds are singing to dance around the truth. I like to go the direct route, because it seems to be really hard for a majority to tell someone the cold hard truth, even if it will hurt their feelings. My impression was he wanted a direct answer to his question whether there is anything he can do about his situation; answer is no. Time to move on.

What I'm most curious about is if these items were so meaningful to you, why weren't they stored away originally when you made a new character? I'm not unsympathetic to your situation, but you already gave em up when you decided to switch characters. Plus, what could they be that couldn't easily be replaced, sentimental value notwithstanding.

I know right? OP isn't acting entitled, they are searching for a solution and being met with hostility. Dear God I love this community.

I love people not giving him direct honest answers (or just simply posting here and giving no feedback) to his question, which can be answered with one word. No. Here is a little longer response for you. No, there is nothing he can do about his situation (unless you somehow manage to talk to them and work out something with them, unlikely, but possible), sorry it happened to you, but its time to move on and count your loses.

You can tell the truth and be honest without treating the other person like garbage, "being brutally honest" is almost always used as an excuse to be hostile with other people. Your last post is much better worded, but your first post is extremely condescending.

Don't hide behind your banner of "truth". You're being unnecessarily rude over a game. This isn't something serious like a bill deadline or whatever. This is a person's time investment and memories in a video game. It doesn't need "cold hard truth" - it needs empathy and understanding.

You're telling me I need to show more "empathy" and "understanding" for telling the truth? Really? Go find another thread (or a safe space) to troll. He acted like this was a time sensitive matter, and I gave him the most direct answer that is most likely to happen without peddling around.
