Weapon aside, what do you think of the reworked diadem?

The rewards are good, I did only one run and got two 265 accessories, both of which suited my jobs I use. That aside, I hated it. It was tedious and unengaging, having to fly around was annoying and the level design was both ugly and unimaginative. I don't think I'll run it again. Much more fun to run Alex for gear.

This is false. It's slower but we managed to clear the gathering objectives with only 2 people and with enough time to fly around and gather some more.

The rate drop for ilvl 265 gears need to be higher.
Otherwise, I have the feeling to farm for not much rewards in the end.

The critical mission is the best part of Diadem.
Star rank mob is a good thing but don't spawn too much and give not enough rewards.
Fates is too repetitive. Maybe we could have others things to do with it.
Caves should be special zones, more dangerous than outside, with more chests.

It's so boring. Most of my group left after objectives were completed so I just gathered.

Boring as hell, I wanted to leave after 10 minutes, ...

and after i figured how the chances are for the i280 weapon, ím gladly sticking to my 275...

I will say there appears to be some major tuning issues. Response time was ok when the various groups were spread out but when we came together for some big bosses I was seeing lag of 10-15 seconds and wasn't the only one. Thankfully I'm ranged but it surely didn't help keep the tanks and melee from dying.

It takes 300 gatherings to finish the objective, by the time you finish you will only get to the unspoiled nodes maybe once or twice, as unspoiled nodes were sent to the bottom of the map.

There's zero reason to do it in a fc when you can have a full matched party opening the lower parts in mere minutes.

FC airship was supposed to be a perk, not a disadvantage.

General new diadem impression: I like it. Not a fan of the FATE system they settled on, but it works, after a fashion. Not sure if balancing it for multiple full parties will end up working (I'm looking at the general attitude people bring into 24 man raids and that already concerns me) but time will tell.

Rewards wise - I despise the stupid RNG lockbox system copied from PotD. Please, just exchange boxes for metacurrency and put up a list of exclusive/useful stuff.

Oh, right. Gathering has to queue for the other version of diadem, not the primary combat one. Sorry, forgot to take that into account.

I'm deeply enjoying watching the instance turn on each other during the emergency missions because there's no way to recover from a screw up.

I guess there isn't any way to solo queue as gatherer, right? You need to join someone with a workshop?
