My tracert didnt show any *. It was be able to connect to Cactuar server. I don't see how there has to be error. No Level3 tho.
I had some routings via France from Germany, yet I found out the provider seems to be either from somewhere in the Spanish area or somewhere in Canada. From what I see the tracert usually ends somewhere on the cloud service Ormuco ( Website ) and their website seems to be down.
So, I am currently experience an issue with they way TWC routes connections to the lobby server IP of 199.91.189.74, I am losing the connection at 216.6.87.10. when i tracert to the actually server I play on 199.91.189.38 I don't drop anything. is there something I can do on my end to change the routing scheme to bypass the 216.6.87.10 connection so that I can login?
At least the European servers are working. But yeah, it died on me on floor 40 of potd, after a cursed run.
Hmmm, just checked Montreal weather. They just started snow shower @ 3:15 PM their time (which it is few mins ago). I think it has nothing to do with weather.
Ormuco, from my understanding, is also located in Montreal.
Since there has been mention of Montreal having some wintery weather, it's something to consider that perhaps Ormuco's servers are also being impacted by the wintery weather.
There was an individual that posted on the current Reddit thread about this outage about how Montreal was having wintery weather beforehand, though. Still something to consider.
This current situation is completely out of SE's control. As was the situation from three days ago, where as Level3 posted on their Twitter account that their Montreal servers were having problems. SE cannot control the flow of Internet traffic.
once again, from the mainland of europe, i cannot connect to Balmung. let alone get in the data center OR access my NA based characters on the lodestone.
i keep getting error 5006 when trying to get on the datacenter, my connections are just fine, well over 100mbps down and about 12mbps up, all other internet based apps work like a charm. would this suggest a datacenter crash? cause last time i got 2002, 90k and whatever else connection based error.
