Before responding tot he quote I must ask if there was ever a Titan GLA sword. Since I keep seeing hearsay about there only being a DRK sword form Titan and it would explain why GLA requits use the Garuda's Gaze.

There was the Break Blade, though that was (is?) a trade-in rather than dropped from Titan.

I never said it's pointless because I don't personally like it or wouldn't do it.
I didn't even say at all that glamouring them would be pointless. Read again.
I said the SPECIAL RECRUITS would be pointless if what makes them special was available to every single one.

I absolutely love glamour (to the point where I have been accused of ONLY caring about that in these very forums..:rolleyes:) and do it on all of my characters and retainers.
Of course, I'd also do it to my squadron if that was an option. It's just that the very option does not make sense based on how SE implemented them - 8 normal and 2 special characters per race.
If them being "special" was tied to, for example, significantly higher stats instead of being the only ones who get to wear glamour gear, it wouldn't be a problem.
But that is not the case. So objectively, a way to glamour each recruit would completely remove the special status of the special recruits.

Seriously this, soooo much this. I was also tired of those purple white shell weapons and the annoying glimmer armour.
