All I'm saying is that everyone should have a fair shot at all content. In game, yes, but difficulty is okay. I am so sick of this cash shop, and mog station logic. This isn't entitlement. Don't even say you warned me about mog station. I wasn't even playing when the fan base was begging for cash shop stuff.

Like others have said, buy the statue for the statue, the emote is just a bonus. For when the time comes that FFXIV closes its doors for good you still have the statue that you wanted to buy, but not the emote you wanted to buy and now is gone forever.

If you want the emote/statue, then you save up the money to buy it. If you can't afford it/can't justify the price, then you live without it.
That's how being a functional adult works. If you barely have the money to pay your subscription, then you have more important things to worry about that a friggin' in-game emote.
If there's a demand for the emote itself, a normal person might even sell it separately to players like the OP when they receive the statue to recoup some of the cost~ -
