Why are people complaining about the relic nerf?

So don't treat it like a second job, run an hour a day and you will still get your relic. While I don't have an issue with the relic nerfs, the "second job" attitude is entitled, as you expect that the game will give you the same rewards for less effort because you can't play for reason XYZ and you expect that the players who got the rewards the hard way to respect you because "I don't treat the game like a job"

im not complaining. ive completed my relic before the nerf , and now im happy that i can start another one without spending to much gil on it XD :P

This is how I feel. If anything this motivates me to get more relics. I don't care if Newperson Newnew gets the relic easier now. It doesn't lessen the feeling of achievement/relief when I got it months ago at all.

Well, I'd say those are the new players or just been around for less than a year whose complaining

It has always been like this since 2.0, nothing new under the sun
No ones gonna do an outdated gear for the same amount of time when it was one of the high tier gears. If the zodiac relic was as time consuming today as it was (looking at you atma/animus) back then, does people honestly think that players would do it? No

Besides, they released i235 weapons recently and that takes what? 2 weeks or so? this change is warranted

I really don't get why people complains about the nerf, you did it the hard way I did the hard way twice when it was RELEVANT, keep that word in mind, its not longer relevant a 210 wep is 30 ilvl below the current stage, its not like they are handing the 240 to everybody.

Who would make relic items just before a patch when just about everyone speculated there'd be some sort of nerf coming? A novice

Fair enough, but you are kind of misinterpreting my point. Players are a diverse breed and nobody really as the right to dictate how much time a person spends on a game, aslo assuming the reasons involve "entitlement" or a desire to be hand-holded is a completely narrow-minded viewpoint that rarely ever engages the people you are arguing with and comes off as being dismissive.
