Would have to be pretty limited to be both balanced and sensible, though. Wouldn't be able to transfer bleeds, poisons, Doom, or most status effects. Burns? No. TP Drain? Sure. Slow? Maybe. Vulnerability (via magic)? Maybe. Vulnerability via Trick Attack? No. Slashing/Piercing/Blunt Resist? No. Some sort of spell-based life leech? Maybe. Pacification? Couldn't use the weaponskill anyways.
Oddly enough, I'm not a fan of the idea of stealing buffs from the enemy. At that point it just becomes a Monk buff instead of an extra option (one that usually makes you feel like you actually care about the party, and gives warm feelings accordingly).
