The scaling may cause hassles in terms of changing the terms of use every single patch. But I generally like it.
Still, I'd be okay with a $9.99 till 2.0.

As a newly returning player, I don't see myself paying $10+ for the monthly sub. I feel like $8/month (at least until 2.0) would be more reasonable. I understand the need to have income for the game to progress but I think that I would walk away for $10+
You know, I'd be OK with this. $1 more per patch until it hits whatever their desired amount is. In fact - that's friggin genius. It's kind of like our way of telling SE "Hey, you're getting more and more stuff into this game and we're getting closer and closer to the full release, here's some more money as a reward for all your hard work".
This makes perfect sense.
i personaly am willing to pay the full sub price i think it pretentious of you to think you deserv a discount just pay the sub fee anf quit acting like your entiteled to more for less this is ffxiv not gieco
A larger FFXIV community means more for you (more friends, more user-created content, more active fan sites, and a more loyal fan base to keep FFXIV alive with in the long term) and a lower price means more people will keep playing and you get to keep more money. Where's the downside in this again?
7 seems fair.
like the mounts and crowns. don't care what they charge, i want more info on those items lol. game still wont be fixed but at least we would get items that we will enjoy when they do fix it.
They should charge half price in my opinion until the total revamp is done. Simply because they will not be able to fix the server issues until 2.0.
While I love the content the game is getting and I am enjoying it I cannot deny the server structure is horrific atm and causing major problem. Because of that and the devs statements it cannot be solved until the total revamp we should not be charged as if things where at 100%
It won't be "50% complete" when they start charging, so that point is moot. $8-10 seems reasonable. Though I would still gladly pay the normal amount, doesn't really break the bank.
