Why are houses so expensive :(

People who keep saying 3.million is dirt cheap god you guys are rich.

Been trying to to level DOL and DOH but it becomes boaring and a chore and I lose interest.
I'm not gonna get angry I knew I was gonna get all the rich people in the game that probably own small or Medium house and have like 6 mil or 10 mil in their pocket leaving a comment in this thread.

O well that's life.

And I have made a thread in the past asking for help when it comes to making money and levelling these jobs.

But I wanted to vent and let out steam I have every right to.

You have just recently hit level 60 a few weeks ago and you expect to just have the money to buy the house after being inactive for a year?

LOL, you don't even have to buy them anymore. They drop like candy from all of the dungeons.

To be honest, 3 million gil isn't very much. I made 1 million in the past 24 hours just crafting and selling things, and I'm not even a high-tier crafter with the best equipment. Plus, I didn't devote my day to making money so it was all done between dungeons and other things, and I'm sure others make more on a daily basis.

That said, feel free to vent. It can be frustrating when you don't know what to do or understand the market.

May of been inactive for a year which is because I moved to Japan. Had to sort my life out. Get a full time job. I'm 31 not a student I do not live at home with perants. I'm not at uni studying. I'm an English teacher in Japan in an elementary school. But before I became inactive I had saved 457,679 Gill. Since you went and looked at my profile noisey I might as well tell you everything so you have the full facts.

That seems kind of insulting, are you implying anyone that spends time on the game and has their crafts leveled and has a lot of gil are just students or people that live with their parents?

As I and others already told you, you don't need crafting and gathering to make gil.

OP, I get what you're saying. I'm in the same situation like you but for me, it's down to pure laziness. Here's what I did, that weekly drop from Void Ark? I used it for Materia and sold the materia. That is how I got my house today. Before then, I miss the opportunity to farm T4 for Allagan items to sell. Everyone is right tho, there's many ways to make gil. Some faster than others. They just recently increased the gil amount from the daily challenges. Just doing your dailies can net you some nice gil.
