I think people are jumping the gun on LNC getting nerfed. LNC/DRG will be a crit-based attacker. If you're any kinda MMO vet, you'll know that on average, crit-based attack classes are generally top single-target DPS. I don't see this changing, at all, IMHO.

11-01-2011, 02:31 AMKraususYes I think you should experience it, because if you did you would realize why lancer is top pick for DPS in that fight and thats because they can avoid sear damage allowing healers to focus on the tank and not have to worry about the DPS, and we also have short animation locking attacks allowing us to avoid eruption/plumes easier. In any other fight any other DPS class could keep up and or rival our DPS, MRD has the highest hitting attack in the game Maim but that doesn't change the fact that their attack range is shorter and they will take 300ish damage every few second in the Ifrit fight.Quote:
