And it just so happens I play DRG and DRK and recently leveled my crafts, I must create!
Thanks for the tip!

Is it just me or those FFXI armor just look similar to each other unless you zoom in all the time. Like themes don't vary lol.
I'd like to see Maat's Cap make a return. You could earn it the same way: completing all the job quests for all of the jobs.
It wouldn't hurt to remake some gear from FFXI to be added to FFXIV. Recycling resources is okay if it's not completely ripped-off and untouched/without any enhancements, like the Aevis and Feral Croc models.
Though, I find most gear in FFXI really tacky...I'd rather have more FFXIV original gear.
Well after taking a look at the ones that been posted, they're all rather bland (apart from this one). I don't know, it feels like they're just below the visual design of FFXIV leveling gear, I see no reason to implement gear from FFXI when the FFXIV artists are far more talented. Of course it boils down to opinion, but does anyone who isn't filled with nostalgia believe these look better than most FFXIV gear, excluding leveling subligars and whatever?
XIV already has plenty of unique armor.
I'd like to see some of the more interesting mage sets added. For healers, the Noble's set and the Blessed set. (We usually combined the Noble's tunic and the Blessed pants, feet, and hands.) For casters, the Dalmatica set.
Noble's set
I would, but I have no idea where I would store it.
I think you have to use a little imagination to see the charm of the old gear; it's all designed for a 2002 PS2 game so there were massive restrictions on what they could do with the models (which they really pushed with some of the later pieces). There were no real moving parts, no flowing robes or dresses and only a limited number of unique features that weren't part of the flat textures. If the old designs were brought up to XIV's standards then I do think that some of the old pieces would look phenomenal. Especially as all of those old tunics, a relic of those PS2 restrictions, wouldn't clip through my mount horrifyingly like a lot of XIV's robes do.
