What if you are paired with 7 other idiots every time you create a pf. I created 5 and had at least 3 idiots per game. Some joined even when I stated knowledge of mechanics was needed but they were just freshly new. So, like all forumites suggested, I should help them and train them right? I did. They bailed after they learn the mechanics, didn't clear and I raged inside.

It would be better if SE could say the magical words "You suck, git gud". Now everybody thinks that they are good enough to kill Thordan and they fail and fail and nobody is good enough to carry them... it might lead to nerf eventually. Still waiting for SE to somehow evaluate performance of their player base on individual level.

Btw. you should have made it more obvious that the players are the focus of your rant.

why can't they? those other 30% are not different per se. except that they actually try. and even of those 70% (just going with those random numbers here), 61% might try as well, it is just that one person in every party that can't focus and fails a mechanic, is slow on healing, cd usage or doesn't now his rotation

you don't need those drops if you aren't willing to earn it

and on top of all of this. Thordan Ex has basically no new mechanics. it's just a combination of almost all the fights up this point. half of them you even encountered through the Heavensward MSQ

Didn't quite catch that from your opening post. The gist of what I got was you asking the Dev team to make less difficult content because the majority of the player base are not that good at the game. It sucks that we get players who don't want to be held responsible for impeding progress or clears because they rather settle for the bare minimum. As a community, it is our responsibility to help each other out, and in some unfortunate cases, separate the wheat from the chaff. We should work together to curb the mentality of irresponsibility instead of asking SE to appease it.

I understand your frustration, Che, and wanting to vent it. I just don't agree with nerfing content that challenges players without being completely daunting.

Dont agree, there need to be content that is super hard and not everyone can do at time of release, its fun, I think they calls it progression.

That may or may not be true, I don't know SooChe, but when people don't respect "Be able to get to phase 8 consistently" in your PF... Yeah, the problem lies in the community. I've had people who don't even survive phase 2 charges. Everyone makes mistakes right? Sure, but not when they die to them 3 times in a row. That clearly shows that they've never even reached meteors. This fight would surely be fun with a static, but otherwise it's an unpleasant experience.

Square Enix releases a easy fight: "This is too easy! Make it harder!"
