Do you ever think the moogle attire will return?

I dont hate anyone who has it and yes im pissed i missed it, but my anger goes towards the people who are like "oh you missed it? Too bad. I got it and you didnt so i hope it doesnt come back, because if it does ill complain because i wont be SPESHUL anymore"

If it comes back, so what??? Why care? You had it before them. If it doesnt come back, big whoop. But theres no need for people to hope it stays "special". Nothing is special on ff. Theres ALWAYS people who have the same stuff if not more as you. Always. Its like lightnings event all over again. People whined about it returning because of how it needs to stay special, yet the majority of Miqotes I see on my server have that same, exact hair.

Look, its just bad policy for a Final Fantasy game to have all of the classic and interesting glamours locked behind a "oh you didn't do this or pay money for that during a certain month, so you can't have it" policy.

You join the game now, and you can't have moogle outfits, cait sith minion, Lightning hairstyle or equipment, shantotto minion, several classic helms, various classic monster earrings, and more. How will it be in a few more years? New players start the game and find an incredible wall of classic Final Fantasy stuff they can no longer obtain. That's lame.

Old stuff should be obtainable in some way, preferably though similar methods. Live stream events for live stream items, returning promotion fates for cross-promotion items, etc. They can continue to add new items to the game while still occasionally making the old ones pop up here and there.

Would it really be a problem to have the Lightning Strikes fates switched on for a weekend? Or to have a choice of old or new items for things like soundtrack minion redeem codes?

I know and yes it is lame, but I wont DIE if I dont have it. I wont whine that I dont have it. The ones who are whining are those who want it to stay special and only care about themselves being special

Unless you worked really hard for something, dont complain about rarity.

Lets use Kirin for example. I worked so hard getting it only to see him EVERYWHERE I go. Literally almost everyone on my server has it. I wasted my time. I didnt even like the ponies anyway so I regret working my butt off getting them all.

The majority of people who got the suit payed 20$ for it. No work was done to achieve it. It was just bought. The people who actually went to the fan fest, I SUPPOSE they worked for it. But why do they care so much about people having it?

People don't always get what they want outside of game in real life either. There are things people get for doing nothing that other don't get that just part of life. There are the ones that don't want others to have what they have and then there is the ones that want what they don't have.

That's just it, exclusives are what they are because they are a gift. Square going, "Thank you for joining us/supporting us/participating in our limited time event." It's a gesture of good faith that you can use to show you cared about the game enough to have been there. But, thing is, you definitely had to be there. If you couldn't be there for it then it shouldn't be so big a deal. I've kicked myself over having missed Fanfests but I didn't hound those that could because I couldn't. Nor did pester Square for not making the attendee exclusives available in another venue. I missed it, such is life, I moved on. And I'm still moving on. I missed the moogle suit. Oh well. Didn't get any of the plush dolls nor art book. C'est la vie. No point flipping tables over missed exclusives.

Eh, I paid to sub for the livestream and gave the code to a friend. Wouldn't mind to see it return in some fashion because I kinda want it myself.

Maybe the bigger issue is that insanely popular Final Fantasy stuff is made into exclusives in the first place. I don't see people crying about wanting access to the ahriman chokers from forum contests, but lots of people want Lightning's hairstyle. No one was clamouring for the dodo earring to make a reappearance, but plenty of people want moogle caps.

Come to think of it, both moogle caps and moogle helms are locked behind exclusives. If you can't understand why some people are frustrated about that, then I'm not sure you understand why lots of people play this game.

I don't think people complain about the Ahriman Chokers or the Dodo Earrings because they always seem to come back for every community event.

True, I play the game for the story and excellent PvE experience where the PvP is shunted off into it's own space in the game that I never have to cross for any reason. But that's the heart of any Final Fantasy, MMO or otherwise. And being an MMO it's got that social aspect that I enjoy alot. Guess my expectations aren't high enough to understand the hate.
