Probably Costa Del Sol cause it's nice
i already live in Ishgard it's called Cleveland and it's cold 10 months out of the year so no thanks
Ul'dah...to much wealth inequality and unrest
Gridania- probably a close 2nd but when i port there it's always raining for some reason so no thanks
Gridania, Upper LaNoscea or Illdyshire (hinterlands has a spectacular view)
I love anything that has nature/water around it. Although maybe I would stay in Limsa if I could stay at the Bismark and eat sweets and coffee all day *sigh* one can dream.
I'd live in the empire. I prefer an orderly, well protected and controlled society.
In my headcannon backstory for C'mell, the C tribe had a village similar to Forgotten Springs, but it was on the coast... where the Imperial Outpost at Cape Westwind now stands. So if I could affect the story, I'd wipe out that outpost and the Castrum it serves, and build a nice Sunseeker fishing village there again.
If I had to live in one of the towns / villages currently in the game, though, I'd totally choose Forgotten Springs. Sunseekers, even if not my particular tribe, and a desert similar to the one where I grew up... not to mention a fabulous hot spring, and a nice cavern system I could use my mining skill to expand and fortify.
Camp dragonhead for me love the feel there :)
Not necessarily. There will be some problems no doubt once its liberated. Keep in mind at lest 20-25 years its been under imperial rule. That means a whole new generation of Ala Mhigans have grown up knowing nothing but imperial rule. There will no doubt be some imperial loyalists.
I really hope the next expansion is about taking back the city a big invasion of the city would make an interesting dungeon.
Back on topic Limsa cause I love the sea and the smell of it.
I would have to go with Limsa for the laid back atmosphere and the fishing for when I want to take a break from the craziness of adventuring. Like going incognito and doing regular work for the Fishermen's Guild or maybe starting a small fishing outfit of my own even.
Raincatcher Gully. A nice hut to keep out the coeurls at night; running streams, gravity-defying flowers; it's a little paradise.
"Welcome to Pandora!"
Well, I'll be darned. I don't know how it happened, but we somehow struck the same motherlode of inspiration for character names and backstories. :D Lyland's first — and for the longest time, only — retainer is C'lafhina (daughter of C'tykha Nunh). She was also originally a desert miqo'te, whose tribe roamed the coast of Western Thanalan. C'lafhina may as well be a half-sister or, very possibly, a cousin of C'mell, haha.
C'lafhina is an "ocean" cat now. She has since moved to Limsa Lominsa, where she became an accomplished arcanist.
