races in FFXIV are copy paste from FFXI ,lalas come from tarutaru (best race ever)

i played taru in FFXI and it was awesome , the only issue is weapon size (lol) , and lack of detail in robes , but the /panic motion made it for it , plus taru rdm was badass looking!

The character I play as is supposed to be a 9 year old so a small child - like race is perfect.
