Partying in this game is too easy there is no chalange in fighting 1 lil mob with 8 people..
Thats why some prefer to solo. Go freaking somewhere else if you don't have anything descent to post.

They broke solo and i don't see how they didn't see that in their testing phase. Yes partying is very much fun and i enjoy it a lot, maybe even more then solo but not everyone want's to party. Even i do not want to party sometimes and i'd rather go solo and do my own thing. Sometimes i just don't have time to seek people and i want to be able to progress on my own.
Don't turn this into a FFXI clone where you are forced to party to do anything in the game. That's what turned me off that game and it is what made a lot of people leave for other mmos who had a more casual approach.
no...keep breaking solo, that way we can have an actual MMO and not a single player fest.
you dont need a full party to lvl, cant you find one or 2 people to do leves with.
If they wanted to make us force party, for one, maybe they should have fixed the terrible party search function. Barely anyone uses it. Solo should still be viable (for now) because it is really hard to find people to play with. The people currently on the servers are mostly people that are long gone from the lower levels. You can just look at the countless threads on here and other sites asking for LS that have 0 replies.
On the other hand, if you are going to allow power leveling, that makes it so even LESS people are on the low end, you might as well let soloers be able to level at a respectable speed to a certain point, at least out of the lower levels. (~15)
I think it's silly that you can "powerlevel" someone for ridiculous amounts of exp withalmostno effort required out of the person being powerleveled, but players that play "legitly" are putting way more effort into it are getting a significant decrease in the amount of progression.
I duo'd with my girlfriend yesterday on a 4**** leve and we were both getting about 70sp a mob before % increases at ~15, nearly dying a couple times but we still managed. The risk vs reward just isn't there, at least not with leves. The mobs were about 3 levels higher than we were and came in 2s, 3s, and sometimes they would run off and we would have to fight 4 mobs at a time. We still did it, but didn't think the sp gain was worth it. Yeah, the leve finisher gets a big chunk of exp at the end, but the other person helping doesn't unless they leve-link.
