Adventurers having entered Alexander: Gordias

I would be quite interested in the numbers of people who have completed Main story Quest in relation to Alexander normal then you would have a better figure of % of hardcore raiders. Considering that is currently 35010/217817 that's 16% Of the total playerbase that has completed normal Alexander 1 have also completed Alexander Savage 1. But then what are the numbers that have completed the main story but not even started Alexander normal, or even the ones that don't even have a job at 60 yet. I would hazard a guess that the hardcore playerbase is still going to be somewhere between 5-10% at best. Hence why focusing resources on that playerbase solely is a very inefficient way of producing content, and also explains why it is always limited to one small set of raids for each patch release.

they have the meta data so they can see plainly who has done what in order to think on balance in the future.

Heck, even statics disbanded in my fc because no one cares about Savage.

Despite what some people like to misleadingly claim, it's not actually "easy" content like Crystal Tower.

The numbers show that there is enough interest from the playerbase to have a raid divided into story and savage, thus making it worth the effort from the devs to spend time on that content. That's all it means really.

Indeed...
While it's not very difficult (story mode) I'd say it sits above LotA/ST/WoD, but below extreme primals.

Using WoD as the baseline, you'd often have half the alliance being essentially useless and still be able to clear it. You can't have the same amount of useless players in any of the alexander floors and still clear it (exceptions might exist, but this is in general), making Alexander harder by default.

I do consider it easy content, it isn't easy like CT, but that's faceroll difficulty not "easy". I'd love a mid tier raid with difficulty on par with Ravana or Bismarck myself though.

You have 217,000 people that gave a **** about this game enough to hit lvl 60. Do you really want to see 35,000 of those people go away? Now your down to 180,000 if not less.

Lol you treat alexander like it's the only content in the game ever, not everyone plays just to clear alexander or do savage, I'm one of those who just cleared alexander and thought that was enough for me, I didn't stop playing.

I cleared alexander week 1, then continued leveling crafts, gathering, getting esoterics as I felt, etc. So just because a large playerbase in your opinion isn't doing the content enough doesn't mean there aren't people playing.

FFXIV was and is a casual gamer. SE added more "Hardcore" playstyle or grind and players gave up easily.

Numbers from Savage and Normal remember me when a 10% playerbase cleared t13 before echo.

BTW, It's pointelss to do Alex NM once esoteric gear is released and you don't want raid savage. It's better do other stuffs and cap 450 eso tomes and gear with 200 ilvl piece.
