The Warrior of Darkness also has a role to play somewhere but we can only speculate on that for now. The real question at this point is which is the bigger threat? Personally I feel it's the Warring Triad, though I expect the story will focus more on Nidhogg because dragons.

Raubahn will probably go back to Ala'Mhigo at some point soon to start some fire going on liberation. It will probably be after Nanamo terminates the Sultanate and he doesn't have to stay close to a hugely important government figure anymore.

I'm thinking the bigger threat will be Nidhogg who now may or may not also have Lahabrea lodged in his face. The Warring Triad might be a Bahamut-esque threat. Which is to say a HUGE threat but one the world in general doesn't know about.

How long has Ala'Mhigo been occupied by this point? I can imagine that more than a few of its residents have learned to live with the occupation and will not be completely thrilled with the disruption that comes with being liberated.

Garlemald took Ala Mhigo in 1557 of the Sixth Astral Era so it's beeeen about 15 years. Some people might be living with it but others are probably a bit salty. Not much they can do about it since Garlemald had incited a in-nation conflict that middle stuff middle stuff ended with the extermination of the Fists of Rhalgr who made up the bulk of the nation's military prowess.

There is so much lore to be had in Ala Mhigo it's insane. The Fists (there will be survivors, at the very least the new MNK trainer), these fabled "proud lancer legions", everything related to the Alliance-Ala Mhigo conflict... Omnomnom. Yes, 4.0 will be good indeed.

But yes, we must show Nidhogg what for, help Aymeric reform Ishgard, kick Lolorito out of Ul'Dah, end the Cartenau dispute and secure Omega and also deal with the garleans at Azyz Lla. Lots to keep us busy.

We also haven't dealt with the disappeared Sharlayan area and the scholars that conducted in the specific aetherical research I don't remember.

Never met Krile and the other students of Baldesion yet.

We have too met a Student of Baldesion! Just... him being a Student was apparently little more than a meaningless and entirely superficial introductory note to be promptly forgotten the second Allagan clones got involved. Apparently. If and when we meet a Student of Baldesion whose nature as such is actually a relevant detail, will they even acknowledge his membership, I wonder...

Leaving the sellotaped fragments of my heart aside, we have no idea what's going on with Omega, but we do know that the guy who refurbished the last anti-primal weapon is currently out there, somewhere. Considering the story looks to be moving towards the city where Ultima Weapon was recovered, we might finally start seeing Nero actually do something for a change.

We actually met 2 Students of Baldesion long before G'raha Tia as well! Unfortunately, they died in Livia's raid of the Waking Sands (two outlandish hyuran in acolyte and foestriker gear, if memory servers)

Oh, you're right! It's been ages since I did those quests, but yeah, now that you mention it. You only know about them if you talk to them between quests, but yeah, I guess those two were the first we ever met of the Students. The remaining question, then, is when they'll stop using them to make Galuf jokes in really poor taste...

Just for the record, Rammbroes (of the Sons of Saint Coinach) is also a Student of Baldesion, or an ex member.

Being a Student of Baldesion does not automatically guarantee MSQ relevancy.
