First thing here in 3.1

My only complaint about the Mythic is going to be the same one I had for Relic... make it useful! Artemis wasn't useful until Novus, where I could set stats that actually worked for my Job. iL means nothing if the item isn't actually useful. Hopefully, the Esoteric weapon isn't the Mythic seed. If it is then I am going to be sorely disappointed.

How about...

6. "Omg I have to recruit 14 friends and have them sub for 6 months to get the relic" - everyone

"thank you for 3.1, but why is there not enough variety even though you put X and X in the game just now?!"

I feel like this will still be on the top.

Wheres the part about the Unobtainiums? Get five pieces of unobtanium from each of the areas through FATEs. They have a .5% droprate for successful completion, and it has to be gold rating.

Also 2 star crafted HQ weapons melded with three VI materias. Nevermind that VIs don't even exist (or the carbonized matter) and we still don't have means of reliably obtaining V. The weapons also only have 1 meld slot.

The new relic will probably follow a nearly identical path the first relic did. The only thing that is known about 3.1's relic is if a player has a Zeta they'll only have a small advantage to those that do not have a Zeta. My guess is that the Zeta is the base weapon for the new relic. Not sure what the base weapon would be without those that do not have Zeta.

It would be funny, yes my evil side is showing, if the Relic 2 ends up requiring the AF2 Weapons upgraded to their ilvl 210 version to serve as the base for obtaining the Relic 2 as some people are assuming.

Because of "early pulls" when all the eso upgrade items get added to the hunt vendor in 3.1?

All the complaints about difficulty from alleged "hardcore" and "casual" players are just noise. Future content needs to make social interaction an integral part of the game play or people have no reason to stay in the game after hitting max level. It's self-defeating to build FFXIV in a way that mirrors games that went F2P and expect a subscription model to hold up. They have to understand the social elements at play that allowed FFXI to out-chug WoW or it will have to compete with an over saturated F2P market.

For SMN (and maybe ACN/SCH), that's easy:
"WHERE ARE MY EGI-GLAMOURS?!"

Personally, I'm fully expecting that system to be implemented in Patch 3.2 or later.
