I like doing the hard content with static but I also like to play the game just to relax sometimes, and this difficulty is perfect. It's not faceroll, you still have to have a little bit of coordination (especially 4), but it's forgiving enough that if someone makes a mistake, it's not gonna wipe the whole raid and start a rage-war, and they're quite short so if you do have a couple of wipes it's no big deal, just chill and go again.
I think it's also a really good way to ease people into raid content. Coil was probably...rather overwhelming for some people - the difficulty jump from dungeons/CT to coil was pretty huge.
