From the 3.0 Patch Notes:
[2.0] The requirements to unlock Duty Roulette: Trials has been changed. Players can now participate in this roulette after unlocking any two trials listed under this category.

lol this made me laugh.. probably cause i had like 7 20sec- 2 min queues for bismarc n the vault last night as bard Xd

Hildebrand shows up in a cameo in 3.0.

Devs already mentioned more Hildy in Heavensward. The made the ending so it could be stopped, but enough people kept asking if there would be more and they said yes.

Are we glossing over the fact you can do trial roulette with only 2 trials unlocked? Yes, yes we are.

Hildibrand should take a break for awhile so he doesn't get stale.
