Can't beat a MSQ as a white mage

Only time I have trouble doing MSQ as a WHM was on one of the last Heavensward ones, I forget the name now but I think it was the 2nd last quest you do where you fight someone from the Empire. That one was giving me issues because I'd get super low on MP so took me a few tries. You just need better gear most likely, as I had left most of the MSQs and was around ilvl 120, then did them all to get ready for HW and found them super easy since I was so geared up.

except now, I'm stuck with "An Unwanted Ascian"...I swear trolls are lurking in that one trial. <.< after 6 failed attempts, tanks STILL refused to pick up comets, and the groups hardly ever picked up the orbs (alternating between red and black), and thus we wipe on Dark IV (or taking massive dmg from the comets falling. <.<

but thank you none the less. I'm taking a few days off, and hopefully I'll be able to clear it sooner or later, but after having two fail groups wipe 3 times each? I'm not keeping my hopes up. :|
