Start a learning party. If there isn't a party to your liking in PF, then get one out there!
Many veterans actually join them fairly regularly to help.

I hope this is joke , i was tried learning pt for T8 last week . 4 times i reupped PF (2 times as PLD , 2 as BRD) , so i waited 4 hours on Balmung @ NA primetime just to get no one . (Before say DF , i was in que as PLD & BRD 6 days in row (5~6 hours per day) got proc only 2 times as tank just to "abandon in 2 wipes" . So ye i just bought t8 for 900k which takes only 1~2h to make /sadface
No because making gil is independent of your ability to finish coils.. People can still make gil with the same effectiveness as any other without ever having stepped foot in coils.
Nobody's gonna buy gil just so they can buy a coil run.. If people do buy gil and pay for the coil runs with RMT gil, then those people would've bought the gil anyway for other things in game like housing and items.
Do people even do T8? I only see T5 and T9+..
Also.. you might wanna consider joining a coil LS, there are few of those around and that'll help you get the word out when you make a party in pf
While I think buying runs is fine, did you just throw it up in PF and be done with it? If so, there's several things you could try before resorting to selling. Shout in the major cities for help (this usually helps a lot), see if any of your friends in the game want to learn the turn with you, instead of just clearing T8 try and make a new static for clearing SCoB (alternatively start the T8 party and then recruit from there), etc. etc. You have to be active and try to get people to join you otherwise no one will and you'll have to buy it. Which is fine as long as you can afford it, I just think that if you can do the content without buying, then you should.
I blacklist every run seller i see in pf.
I do wish blisted players pf wouldnt show but at least they're greyed out.
