I finally remembered an Elezen/Hyur pairing - and, like the other pairings I mentioned, there is absolutely no astonishment, or rebukement, or general feelings of guilt about it (though, admittedly, the pairing is troubled for other reasons):

Detective Briardien and Reporter/Terrorist Ellie from the Hildebrand quests.

Do you really want a serious answer? Well, even if you didn't here I go!

One obvious reason off the top of my head is Roe are generally very small in the pants (and in the case of male lalafell/fem roe then look up a picture of a tiny hotdog in an amphitheater and you have your answer) so it'd allow for non-lethal penetration of their partner. Though penetration isn't needed for successful impregnation (all you need then is a turkey baster and a dream).

As far as child birth, the child could just be large lalafellin kid or just be born normal sized for the mother. Though I am left wondering the success rate of caesarians in Eorzea.

As far as male lala/fem roe if you look up a hotdog in an amphitheater you'd have your answer.
