Yeahhhh I kind of had the same thing happen in T4. This guy had some obscene name r/t an STD, and acted like a complete knob in party :/ Standing around, not attacking anything but getting verbally abusive when people tried calling him out about it. Basically there just for a free SB ride.
Similar crap happens now r/t the triple triad card drops. I ran Mog HM for 3 nights to be able to get the King Mog card, except a MNK in one party, and later a NIN stayed by the beginning standing area and never left, moved or anything. I didn't notice until about halfway through the battle. Just wanted a free TT card ride.
This is kinda what we get when SE encourages the mindless grind that we need to be able to get things done in game. Nerfed chars in T4 bored out of their minds cuz they don't want to pay MB prices for materia and other people who have run these hm/ex primals until their brains bleed for low pony and card drop rates. They want stuff but don't want to work for it anymore. -
