Yes, but you are only finding an use on PvP. This isn't really what I want out of Tri-Disaster, though. It's a reward for progressing in the SMN questline, and I would expect it to have more utility than a spell gained by leveling a THM.

To be fair, AoE is what BLMs basically own. SMN is about maintaining a steady line of DPS, not bursting like a BLM does. I still do agree that the power/Cooldown is too high.
I agree with everyone saying enkindle should have a shorter cooldown. Would be a nice change to give you some aoe burst damage when the situation calls for it and to have more of your overall damage coming from your pet. Maybe they can add a similar aoe pet skill in the expansion that has less potency but much shorter cooldown to throw in there instead.
Tri-disaster is certainly worthy of the name. With the long casting time, huge MP cost, and low potency, it certainly is a tri-disaster.
There is something seriously wrong, though, when a cross-class skill is better in every way than a job skill.
Enkindle, on the other hand, is at least a somewhat useful skill. It'd be nice, though, if the cool down timer was a couple of minutes shorter.
Enkindle. Useless? No. Boring? Yes.
Tri-Disaster. I hardly ever use this spell. I cant think of a time where I used it and it was necessary to use.
Tri Disaster has saved me and several parties from wipes several times... It's especially useful in Coerthas fates involving certain annoying and OP cyclops... You know the one in taking about :/
Tri Disaster is good it's just about when and where. I mean 20s is a long bind... Maybe it could be 30+ seconds and ppl would like it more.
It sucks to see Tri-Disaster have such a badass animation, but is hardly used because blizzard 2 exist.
The 20s bind isnt the issue with Tri-Disaster. I thought this move would be good, didn't mind the low potency because most arcanist/sumkoner skills have a low potency. But the issue is with the bind itself, the second you attack the enemy, the bind effect is lost. If the bind effect stayed then the move would be better. I agree maybe raise the potency, lower the MP cost, but for me the main issue is that the bind effect is lost the second you attack the enemy.
Also about enkindle, lower the recast time 5minutes is just too long. It should be a minute to a minute and a half tops, like most high potency moves.
