Well, they have already borrowed some elements from FFT and FFXII, like the zodiacal thing and the Ascian's names are the FFXII Scion of Light's names.

The garlean's armors are pretty much based on the judge's armors. So they kinda "married" FFXII (and tactics) with FFXIV, so, that's why I (sadly) don't expect a cross-over. :(

My start city is Ul'dah because its remind me of Rabanastre.

Actually, you can get FF 1-10 on the ps3. There all are in the Playstation store, but back to the topic. I would be really disappointed if they don't do a sky pirate storyline when the expansion comes out.

Give me a long dungeon set in the Pharos at Ridorana and I'm game. I LOVED XII, Ivalice is my second favorite FF world (first being Vana'diel of course).
