This way casual can do it without issue but once again the bot issue would happen matter what if SE does noting about it.
I don't want this game to become 100% instance and noting no one on the open everyone just in town and go do instance all day.that the issue we going to have if there no NM walking outside at least they be people doing both the way i say it. -

HNM like VNM (without having to take picture, or have to /sit to get message the mob is ** yard away) will be a better way to add High Monster into the game.
But there is the guildleve system, and there's more to come with company, probably some High NM, and it would be cool.
I just hope there's not only rare/ex item coming with that, i wan't to make some cash by defeating High Notorious Monster ! -

Dear SE... Please to Nix HNM camping in FFXIV. BCNM and Force PoP NM work wonderfully as you have seen in FFXI's Abyssea mini expansions.
My reasons are as follows.
-HNM camping is not fun, at all.
-If I am paying to play the game, then I want to play it. Not sit for 3+ hours (and back in the HNM heyday of FFXI it was nightmarish for how long some HNM's took to pop. You know what I speak of Solace... the horror of it all...) waiting for an NM to pop that will get out claimed via bots. As those of you remember Faffy (for example! =D ). It was harder to claim him than it was to kill him. =_= As was the case with many of the FFXI HNMs.
-The rarity of drops can easily be placed into BCNMS/Force Pop nms.
-HNM camping is not fun.
-There is nothing that camping can accomplish that can't be done via BCNM's and Force Pop NM's in regards to loot dropping, strategy for a fight, etc.
-HNM camping is not fun, did I mention this? Sorry, sometimes things need to be repeated for them to stick.

None wants to sit 3h and do nothing. This is quit obvious. What i don't get is why a lot of people think HNM's = 3h waiting, bot claiming, monopolizing?
There are soo many reasons to address these matters.
A combination of random pop location (could be bigger distances between them) and certain triggering conditions, which can be effected by palyers actions for example.
To get specific:
The HNM can pop in 5 locations, far from each other, but if you visit one certain temple or whatever, you can get the location where he is going to pop next.
The HNM also only appears on a certain hour and only if it is raining. Now the party has to visit multiple locations to summon this HNM without these conditions being met. 4 are trying to reach these locations and 4 are waiting for the NM to pop. Autoclaim could be a way to go against people who are going to exploit the system. Then again they need to know one of the 5 locations.
What I don't like is instanced stuff. Instanced stuff offers some benefits for the gameplay but they take a lot of the roll playing experience. I like it, hearing of an fearsome HNM and seeing it per coincident while exploring or travelling.
I like these things to be a real part of the world. -

Very true. However, when you have a HNM you will always have claim war, which will always ending with people using cheating. At the same time i do like seeing the NM outdoor, i'd like them to have some crazy fast respawn rate when the conditions are met (like current ones are, that seems to have like 5 minutes respawn) or they having forced spawn/leve version too.
Because its not only about claiming...its does involve gaming experience...not everyone feel like camping monsters. The waiting HNM like FFXI ones caused makes the experience with these monsters boring and frustrating over time. So i do think outdoof NMs are welcome, but the spawn windows used in FFXI no.
IMO if you want to see a good gaming experience you can look these common NMs. They do are a fun content because you actually spend your time dealing with the NM instead of waiting or fighting with other LSs for claim...if you want the item you go there and it will be waiting you.
Or it would end like FFXI....Behemoth Dominion...but where are the behemoth? Dragon's Aery...but what dragons? all i saw there are dragonflies! It was frustrating having to spend years of gameplay until i finally being able to see the monsters whose the areas were named under. Its much cooler as it is here, where you know that of you follow the road in coerthas at night you probably will pass by Uraneus...its exciting you knowing you're entering a HNM territory and having to cross it carefully due the potential risk of it does being there. -

Once again you dam people we can have both -.- having everything BCNM type would make outside the city have no one you can have both HNM and pop HNM/BCNM type. Stop thinking about yourself you can just do your BCNM/pop nm and the people that enjoy doing HNM outside can do it also it wont even matter if there bots there because there no bots doing pop/bcnm when you do them,
I myself would be doing BCNM/POP but it nice to do the real HNM with friends it's not like it going to be a big issue in this game like FFXI.
