the choice is in the mmo you play, sorry but this game is trying to draw in toooo many types of game players, thus it's biggest issues if u ask me. is funny that it started off with 15man grinds and now people do what 2-4man tops? also eventually in time one or the other are gonna be slowly pushed to the side in my opinion. gameplay will get more easier and more solo friendly or it's gonna all start getting more complicated endgames and more party based things. when the job classes come maybe grinds with those will be made? then maybe we get some real party structures again, but then again that will need new mobs to grind on, but i'm sure dungeons will be that.

but where was i going ...oh yeah, games need to stop trying to make both solo'ist and party players happy, it doesn't work unless u truely make 2 games in one, half solo and half party. and what u'r saying is we should have to solo.

oh and also ffxi had a few solo friendly classes, this should be enough. 3-6 solo type classes. and again this game was starting off for large group enjoyment till people with complaints and brainless devs changed them. the reason they changed it cause too many people wanted there pl'ing and duel boxing witch wasn't doable, this was the deepest reason if u ask me. and all these people with 2-6 accounts got 2-6votes. i can guarantee if a real vote was done right now most would of said they liked the older version of the system better if they just fixed the problems with it rather then scraping it.

So whether this is XI-2, or its just XIV, they need to learn the good and the bad from XI, and instead it feels like "OH XI DIDN'T EXIST", Japanese companies do this all the time, "you like Resident Evil outbreak? REALLY? That was a niche game, our next game is going to appeal to western market and not to westerners who liked our previous games made for japanese markets" "oh I thought you guys like streamlined games after looking at Mass Effect 2, but then I guess we should of waited to streamline XIII until after the results of the bioware streamlining came back to hit them in the face." Seriously, they just forget about the people who actually liked their games, whether we're niche or not, and then they make a half assed westernization that the true western idiots don't like, and the niche gamers feel alienated by. Stick to your guns, make games that we like and don't alienate your main player base!

went out of your way? I can make a party in ffxi around/before whitegate within 10min then get everyone to camp within 30min so 40min or less setting up ok i see the pain in the ass there but then you can be there for hours. People who don't want to party should really think about it.

If there 3-4 people around you doing the same thing at the same level why the hell not party together? this is where the solo people are pissing me off. I understand you don't want to waste your time setting up a party but if there 3-5 people around you doing the same thing at the same level why do you people not want to party with them?

Its rare that this will ever happen with out 2 or 3 people grouping up. Not to be disrespectful. But that is a stupid debate.

And hell, even if you are on the worst sever in the world where everyone likes to solo in the exact same spot. YOU should be the one to go find a new spot - and take yer' pals too.
