OK so ppl are wanting more of the story, that's easy enough. I just wasn't given much room to type it out since 1000 char limit. So answering a few questions, they wanted 3 million gil from me. No it wasn't in equal shares and nobody was specifically asked to donate or told they had to. Since everyone was so rarely on and when they were it was only for 1 run, and any new members I recruited left because they never saw the fc leader, I wasn't given much more incentive to really donate to an fc that MIGHT actually do something eventually. Sadly the only reason the fc leader and his 2nd never log on is because they play warframe all day instead. I have no problems if people wanna play other games, but as an fc leader some presence is nice otherwise don't try to be so serious.
Sadly however there really isn't much more to the story, but the 6 core members of the fc are all real life friends who have known each other a few years which does make it difficult for new members or players to come along and feel like they fit in. They almost completely ignore the new players, I wasn't even invited to 90% of the raids they did because they wanted it to be an all friends thing. That's fine by me since I also had a close friend in the fc who needed my help leveling and gearing up. I spent almost all my time helping people in one way or another, either by leveling or gathering materials or dungeon/raid grinds. The demand for gil was random and out of nowhere, but I believe it was out of frustration as well. They were 3 million shy from getting their mansion...well kudos to them because if they do get it they'll just have a very big, very fancy, and very empty fc house.
Like complaining about someone starting a thread in the "general discussion" forum of a game that they play? Oh the humanity!! Did this automatically open up when you came here, or did you actually have to click on the topic to read it?
One more reason why I stay the one person FC, I decide what and when to give. Lets go burn their house down. May not accomplish anything, but it will sure be fun. Who's bringing the marshmallows?
This whole situation just reminds me of a great FF web comic called 8-bit Theatre in which a scene where Thief (the FC) springs out from behind a bush and attempts to rob Fighter (the OP) with the iconic line...
"Your GP... or your HP"
On a serious note, I'm glad you found a new home that treats you like a person, not an NPC.
well...in truth I was really only in that last FC because it gave me constant free access to extra garden plots...doesn't mean i was any less loyal or active but hey...i liked my gardening...
one of them also randomly messaged my best friend (who they also kicked from the fc, just because they were associated with me). This is a person that hasn't talked to my friend in over 3 months and was 2nd in command and most involved person in getting us kicked out...Basically he tried to turn her against me.
Hint: When you randomly message someone after 3 months then make passive aggressive statements towards their best friend after a situation like that, it's a teeny bit obvious what douchebaggery you are trying to pull. xD
On a side note: why can't people just let these things go? *makes another post*
As i did with my FC, People want a house? Chip in, otherwise its gonna take longer, bought a medium house which i and one other member paid for like 90% of it? the rest chipped in barely. Not gonna make em, But if they want it they better chip in.
