Depends on your CP, dura, IQ stacks etc.

I'll sometimes Basic on an "Excellent" in the mid to later stages of a craft, but at the beginning without a lot of ToT procs, I usually ignore "Excellent" procs, apart from using Hasty if SH2 is up.
