I have no problem with a 'cash shop' like this. Just optional, cosmetic gear for those who want to fork out for it. Looks like the prices will be pretty reasonable too.
On first impressions, it is certainly better then SWTOR's Cartel Market. At least here it looks like you will get exactly what you pay for, rather then spending money on gambling packs hoping for an item you want... -

How is this any different than buying the soundtrack for the minion? Or the plushie for the minion? Also, a majority of this stuff is past event items which you could've gotten in-game for free. We don't even know if Sleipnir is gonna be a drop from Odin yet (which is highly likely).
