2.4 Release date predictions

Last time we got a trailer then two weeks after the patch. If we can assume that this week they will show us the previews and next week the trailer, then I think the patch will drop on the 28th of October.

Im also thinking the 28th of this month. I dont see it being pushed back to Nov. though. Just a hunch.

The 28th seems most likely to me. Aside from them saying in september around 2.38's release that 2.4's only a month away (meaning it shouldn't be november), the 21st would be before the European fanfest. And while that should still give people a few days to do patch stuff, I imagine they would prefer to launch the patch after the EU fanfest is over so people are pretty much guaranteed to have plenty of time to have fun with the patch.

We'll probably find out on the 19th though.

if it is on oct 21st then my birthday shall grant you 2.4, if i was 3 years older it would be my 24th and i would laugh loudly XD

After london fan fest most likely

2.1 previews started 11/25, patch released 12/14, 19 days
2.2 previews started 2/28, patch released 3/26, 26 days
2.3 previews started 6/5, patch released 7/4, 30 days
2.4 previews started 10/9...

19 days puts us on October 28th, and gives a little over a week for the buzz to gather after fanfest reveals. 26 days puts us into November, they probably won't do that unless someone screws something major up and it isn't caught til the last minute.

28th, 3 days after fan fest, day of the reset (like every patchs).

I can tell you that it won't be on the 21th. Like everyone said it will be after the Fan Fest. However, if they push it back all the way to November, they will lose a lot of subscriber. There barely anything to do now beside Nexus for none new players, and the Nexus can be completed in a weeks.

They don't launch a patch unless Yoshida is there, so anytime during the Las Vegas or London Fanfest is out of the question.

If something goes wrong, Yoshida need to be there. (Also that last minute check)

As much as I'd -love- it to be the 21st, I think the 28th is more likely after both the NA and EU fanfests have concluded.
