Whenever they show numbers it will be referenced to the total amount of players subbed, because saying "nearly 3 million subs" looks more impressive than "500k active subs".

If they wanted something accurate with class roles they would only count very specific encounters within the last few months.

What he's saying is they used REAL statistics...a proper distribution...rather than a flat average which would have generated that low number per person. They DID nix the outliers on both ends of the gil spectrum and probably generated a window of 1 standard deviation on either side of the mean to use for targeting the pricing for the small houses.

Probably also dropped anyone without a level 50 from these numbers first and the total level 50 population cannot be more than 1.698 million.

I'd be more interested in the median income of players.

Yes the information presented there is more obvious things which just shows you that all the jobs are being used, all 3 GCs are used, people of both genders exist...

But I don't know what the answer would be on player progress. How many people have beaten Twintania? 4% 20%? I don't know.
