Oh hey, how about it works like any other game with out of combat regeneration?
- You attack an enemy, you're in combat till it dies or it completely loses interest in you somehow (I.e. running away)
- You cast a beneficial spell on a target who is engaged in combat, you are now in combat with the engaged target.
Whilst 'in combat' mana regeneration is stopped or severly reduced (affected by stat allocation).
Is it really that hard to work this kind of thing out?
