Time to bring back 1.23 multi-job relic style dungeons

So you want us to go from having BiS for 1 job to having BiS for all 9 jobs? "What!!!! You don't have *this* job so we can use it for *this* fight only? GTFO U FILTHY CASUAL"

The multi job, like someone already pointed out, is that people can be flexible on their gameplay. There is a difference betwen "I can" and " i need to have or i wont get a party at all".

Can you even imagine how DF/PF would look like? lol

It's being used by the people who want to use it, I frequently switch between my BRD and DRG when I want to as they are my best geared jobs, I am gearing my BRD via ST, when I pick up second coil I can gear my DRG more via that, and for now I can gear another job with myth/soldiery gear, or even one myth one soldiery.

Then I can have two more jobs geared enough for more content, so I can then choose to play out of 4 jobs. The system is designed to give players choice if they want to play one job let them, there are still many players who choose to play multiple jobs.

It was proven in 1.0 that if we allow job changed within dungeons we will see "DPS must have BRD or BLM and MNK leveled and geared" and then for example BLM or BRD to AoE trash down and for any bosses with a lot of adds, and MNK for single target bosses. How is forcing party setups to two or three jobs only using the system to it's advantage, it's just locking players out that only enjoy playing certain jobs.

I would love too see this come back, the job system is one of the strong points of FFXIV, and not using it for dungeons is missing a great chance, so you have my support for this cause.

I have a job (self-employed, too), I do charity work in my community, have time to take taekwondo lessons, and go out with friends once in a while as well. I certainly don't devote my entire life to this game.

Just because you can't/don't doesn't mean it's impossible.

Ah, well yeah, I hadn't really thought about that. I suppose legacy players carried over levels and thus had a huge head start on the rest of us.

The game is 1 year old and leveling itself is extremely easy, more so now with the Duty Roulette and Challenge Log; I think I took my Paladin from ~20 to 50 in a matter of weeks solely using it on Guildhest and Low Level Duty Roulettes, that's less than an hour a day, hardly social life crippling levels of play. Crafting and Gathering are even simpler; Levequests can shoot them to 50 in a matter of days.

If you haven't gotten multiple 50s by now, it's because you haven't been bothering, not because other people have no life. Still doesn't justify the OPs idea, but yeah... Leveling in this game is childsplay...

I've put probably 770 hours into the game in the past year. That's been enough for me to level 1 job to 50 as well as 1 DoH to 50. All other classes are where you see them. I did level a second character to 50 BRD, but the rest of its classes are really low level otherwise.
