Except that two of those damage sources barely get used in normal content. The vast majority of the time, SMN should be using Garuda. So unless you're talking about auto-attack damage, I don't see much reason to count the other two.Quote:

But yeah, I can related to be bored to play another melee DPS is that was your main so far and want a change. In that case: you still have BRD, WHM, BLM, SCH, SMN, PLD, WAR to try out and see if that suits you.

I would love Samurai as a new job since that was my favorite DD in FFXI. I am very hopeful that it gets announced before I get tired of the game. They have MNK, they are getting NIN so Samurai shouldn't be too far behind. Well I hope not anyway.

My money is on them totally messing up Samurai and making it the new Tank. -
