Hunts are the best thing to happen to XIV's community since launch

They accidentally pulled, and they decided (and this is the key part) 'oh crap, I didn't mean to do that/OMG I'm gonna die! etc' and they decided, to reset it. There is no issue with this. It's when a group is already actively fighting the mob, and some other person/group runs up and purposefully pulls hate, and dashes off to reset the mob, forcing the initial team to lose all their progress there is an issue...a reportable issue.

Do you want sands/ oil buying capability to be nerfed because you're one of this who has a full set now , or unable to get a group to get enough credit to buy some?

I earned all mine through Coil. There is no reason why they should be unlimited to non-raiders. There needs to be a limit to one a week until 2.4 hits imo.

I hope Yoshi cares more about the 99% who actually pay for the majority of subs more than the 1% of hardcore raiders when making decisions managing his game. Catering to the 1% killed Wildstar before it even had a chance to live, making FFXIV less friendly to the 99% would kill it just as fast.

Agree that the hunt is fun, and forced people to group (and be civil to each other - in most cases) BUT the rewards are utterly broken at this moment. There is very little incentive to do anything else for duty finder since you get everything mostly from the hunt times 10. If anything they should beef up rewards from doing dungeons tremendously and introducing many must have items (instead trash piece of garbage level 70-80 and crafting mats). Raids, Trials, Duty Roulette and Duty Finder dungeons should have top rewards compared to Hunts so that people will only do Hunts as a side quests activity and not the main thing to do. This harkens back to the big problem with FATE party at launch.

So THAT'S why provoke doesn't work in fates? I had been wondering. I don't think I've ever had trouble getting credit on fates, though, even crowded ones, but the most crowded fate I've been in was less crowded than the least crowded hunt I've seen.

Yes, I agree with this 100%. It's like people are staving to death and everyone is fighting over a piece of meat *DOGPILE*!

I also feel like it's Black Friday everyday, hordes of people stampeding all over you and grabbing something you already grabbed. IT'S MINE I SAW IT FIRST! Just for the sales XD.

Maybe SE should make the hunts less appealing? like take some of the eye candy rewards? Seems like a loss cause with this community :/.

It's not like it even matters to raiders. Anyone wearing full Soldiery 110 is definately not seen as a top end player, that's what High Allagan is for.
