In the event of a level cap increase what skills/traits would you want to see?

I'd love to see some iconic abilities and spells show up, off the top of my head:

PLD-> Shock (used by General Leo in FF6, an AoE attack)
WAR -> Leap (kind of like the PGL's shoulder tackle, kinda riffing off of Gau's "Leap" here as he's a bit of a rage/barbarian type fighter)
MNK-> Chi Blast (ranged attack like one of Sabin's techniques from FF6)
DRG-> Lancet (special attack that steals HP and TP)
BRD-> Healing Song (self-explanatory)
BLM-> Ultima (off-cooldown super-AoE eclipsing Flare in power with an extremely long cooldown timer)
WHM-> Quake (AoE earth damage)
SMN-> Gravity (cuts enemy HP by a certain percentage, capped of course against bosses)
SCH-> Scan ("analyzes" enemy data and debuffs them so they take higher damage)

this so much this, war deserves more love for dps, lore and cinematics show him as dps, but when you play it meat shield ... meh D:

For Bard, a lot more songs, so that it really can be used as a support job with good dps potential.
Songs that give haste, real haste not skillspeed, songs that dispel buffs of enemies, songs for increased defense or increased melee atack. and also songs that don't cost mp while they are up :|

That would take 300 potency just to make up for the loss of auto attack potency, nevermind the loss of actual skill damage. You'd have to either make it so powerful it'd be a mini-LB, or so weak that you'd only use it when you know you're going to lose GL anyway. . .

SMN - Ramuh Egi (I just want the beard following me)

BRD - Needs more songs, An attack+ song and a DEF+ one to make their support much more useful.

DRG - I would love to see Angon again, love a powerful defence down action.

Yes, that was my aim. I want it to be used for fights with encounter breaks like primals teleporting out of the arenas long enough to make a monk lose GL stacks anyway, or when certain adds that needs to die immediately to the point a dps loss after (because you still can attack after releasing GL) is still worth it to escape a potential wipe, like sahagin mage on levi ex, or for extra damage when the monk is the only meelee around and has to melee LB (not sure if monks can keep up GL with LB3).

So when did we decide it was a good idea to throw balance out the window? Do you realize how broken this kind of thing would be?

PLD - Anything™

Deep Freeze for BLM. Blizzard's answer to Thundercloud and Firestarter. A chance to have an instant no mp blizzard spell.

I'd like a high potency attack with a long CD. <.<

WHM - A return to some older/nostalgic naming: Cura/Curaga.
A slight adjustment to Shroud of Saints, either VERY slightly reduce the CD, or SLIGHTLY increase the MP regen %. (BLM and SCH/SMN played properly have
great mana management, give us a chance!)
SMN - Level 3 LB summons Phoenix, same effect as SCH or WHM Level 3 reviving entire party.
