They have said in the "FUTURE" this would take place. With them adding things like the airship docks, chocobo stables and even now with gardening...seriously if no one in your FC (and I dont care if its 2 people or 200 people) visits the house in 35 days its fine with me if they erase it. There will be lots of reasons to go to it before this takes place.
You shouldnt clog up an area with a house no one is using. -

I think that this is absolutely retarded and I will be appalled if they really do this, especially for personal housing..
First of all, anything you spend that much gil on should be yours to keep. I don't see how anybody can justify it any differently, especially considering you paid real money and spent real time to make the 10-60 million gil required to buy your land, not to mention the furnishings.
Secondly, 35 days is not even close to reasonable, how about we try 6-12 months, but even that is plain stupid. There are a huge number of reasons people may have for not logging in, like being sick for example, or having to take an extended trip for work (army/etc.). People should not be penalized for not logging into the game, if anything they should be rewarded for logging into the game since it costs money to play.
Finally, how can any of you actually agree with this? You're telling me if it was your 10s of millions on the line you would be ok with SE just taking what you spent on it back so that they can save some $$$ on servers (which is literally the only feasible reason for this). Personally if they did that to my house I would never play this game again. -

Maybe bump up the inactivity timer to 60 or 90 days but considering that it will more than likely be limited space that everyone is after, there's zero reason to allow someone to monopolize it when they're clearly not using it.
