I disagree with the comparison for the reason Tandy has pointed out. T7 = a really good fight and really fun to figure out ow to handle all the mechanics whereas Titan = not fun or a cooperative effort at all (I mean, stacking, baiting, and tank swaps, but that's it)
For people that have latency problem for titan EX, you just need to stand behind the group (assuming you the rest stack behind titan's butt). So if they eat one, they can still easily live through it (and possibly even easier to live through with the echo buff). Of course, that's assuming you can still dodge landslide.
And a lot of things can be dodge preemptively, you just need to know the move that happens before it. Although this is not possible if you have lag spikes, not just a small latency.
I think the ex primals are actually pretty doable now with the buff. That said, the buff does *NOT* replace knowing the fight, but it does help parties who were not quite making it before.
compared to levi EX i find titan harder O.o lol
not because its really hard but its really hard to find 7 ppl can dodge
What's wrong with instant-kill mechanics when they are trivial to dodge? If you are lagging then you'll have trouble with any fight requiring reflexes - the alternative being to dumb down all fights and make them very glacial and slow-paced.
You have to be hit by two Weight of the Lands to die (some jobs can even survive two), and Landslide has a very long cast time (and always gets placed in the same spots, more or less).
You don't even have to memorise Titan EX. Everything is dodgeable by reflex so long as you know how to dodge it. Healers benefit strongly from knowing when Tumult and Mountain Buster are coming up, but aside from that... I always thought Titan EX was well designed and a good fight; people are just horrible at it.
All updates in this kind of MMORPG will be a "big carrot on a stick." Also no, true MMOs will gate content and keep people playing. Leaving content "available to everyone" is why MMOs get boring fast because all content will laid out and beaten very very quickly.
Echo won't help much if you get Landslided off. The Echo certainly helps for Titan's stricter DPS checks, but it will mean jack if no one can dodge the Landslides.
The Extreme Primal progression makes no sense anyway. Aside from a general stricter group check, Ifrit is honestly the easiest of the 3. Leviathan Extreme isn't so bad because the only thing that changes when transitioning into Phase 2 is that the training wheels are kicked off, and from what I've heard, Mog Extreme is only tough on the tanks.

There is absolutely nothing about something like that that I'd call "trivial to dodge" but looking at who made this statement I'm not at all surprised that it was made
The standard practice in the fight is to stack all five on them on top of each other. What do you think will usually happen if you're hit by one?Quote:

This only occurs when everyone besides the tank is all running to the exact same places at the exact same times. Which takes precise coordination. Most randoms won't have it.Quote:
