Glamours being lvl50+ sucks.
I really looked forward to it. I mean, I could prolly rush a class to 50 to unlock it, but I wanted to play this game at a slow pace :/

That Jester outfit looks so horrible
* The appearance of the base item will be used in the event your current class cannot equip the projected item.
Damn, no fooling the system by casting a plate armour while on your paladin on a robe (equipable by everyone). >.<!
The Allagan Grimoire looks awesome!
Also feel a bit bad that I farmed brayflox for the sets :/ - at least the crafted versions are dyeable
Mostly asking since, while the sentence itself would make sense, comparing it to dyes doesn't make sense in that context is all. Dyes can't be applied until you get the quest, but that quest is a relatively low-level quest (level 15 I believe? idk. Orange juice). But a glamour prism seems like it will be a physical item you put on once you add equipment to the glamour. So does that mean you can't "equip" the glamour prism item until you unlock the quest to MAKE glamour prism items, or CAN you equip it BEFORE 50, but just not MAKE a prism item until 50?
orz my head hurts thinking about all this
SE why make it 50. Seriously. That's all this boils down to for me is just a really bad decision for glamour.
I guess the tin-can peeps will be happy. At least you can remove that helm. I don't think many will go with the removal of the legs though, sense it will likely make your character look even worse then it did with DL on. But really I don't think the legs were ever really a issue, it was the head, and how your char can't move his neck in that thing lol. I don't think they confirmed if this effect will carry on into instances or what?
I am worried about this point...
Makes me believe that I can't change my pld valor pieces with cloth type armor. I wanted to put my Sipaphi shirt appearance on my valor body piece... Seems like I can't even do that. At least from how I understand that sentence. I wish they gave an example for that to make things clear.Quote:
The base and projected items are of the same type.
At the moment I'm assuming only the following things to be possible.
Plate armor -> only plate armor (haubergeons, lancer armor, cuirass)
Robes -> only robes
Things that I assume can't happen
Plated armor -> monk shirts
Can a dev shine some light into this?
The jester robe at the bottom (except the hat of course) makes me feel a tingling feeling in my strange.
