I'm glad he answered my question, I was kind of expecting Frontlines to not even be brought up. The arenas he showed looked amazing!

From the patch notes; that addresses one concern that had been floating around here. Warwolf rank requirements and point cost are being reduced as well, so hold off on your i70 PVP purchases until the patch hits.

Mind that they're not coming this patch, they are expected(pretty much confirmed) to come in 2.3 (should be somewhere around june- 3 months from 2.2) :)

Que times are already ridiculous even for key classes. Creating a matchmaker this early for pvp would really only worsen this problem. Newbies getting crushed in pvp upon entrance, is like a rite of passage. If you can't handle the heat gtfo.

if anything, the newer pvpers who toughed out leveling surrounded by much better geared people end up way more dangerous than people who always lived on gear. Look at professor warpeon... that guy is insane to drop once he hit r30.

You and Atma are both correct. For a person whose not just a casual passerby, all those free beatdowns are only gonna serve as motivation to gear then return the favor. Especially considering Atma's comment though..EVEN with all these new (completely unneeded) mark/rank reductions, people are still gonna complain to make it even easier. PvPs been the 1st decently lenthly goal (well maybe Titan HM lol) we've had to work toward and now it's being lowered for the sake of comfort.

Just thinking on it..even with the rank division...at SOME point, newer people are gonna have to go up against higher tiers, if only when they get there themselves. Is all this ranking going to make the innitial experience less or more traumatic when they begin to have to consistantly deal with higher skill? Least with the current way, they'd know exactly what to expect...but now?

Man ques are going to be so shitty come 2.2 cause there's only a few r30 players that really play on a daily basis. SE really only listening to all these kids whinning about how they getting wrecked from higher lvl players what about players like me who had to deal with r30players as well when i was still around r23 and i70, yeah i knew when i ran into to premades r30's i will get wrecked but i never use to give up use to still try and put up a fight and now when i'm r30 people complaining saying its not fair. I worked hard to get to r30 and hell yeah i'm going to enjoy it and wreck face by myself or in a premade lol. Pvp will be revived come 2.25 since lvl cap raising to 40 -___- that grind going to be so frustrating yet fun can't wait for it, that's when pvp will be fun again.

Didn't Reinhart say in his translation that the new arenas are for frontlines? More conformation would be nice.

Can't wait for that 2.25 pvp, ques will be good again.
