Haukke Manor (Hard)

From what I've seen mid iL 50s can clear to last boss but it is highly unlikely they'll beat last boss.

However, I've been in quite a few groups where both dps were in the mid iL 60s that were able to beat the last boss as long as they worked together on the adds (rarely got the adds health completely down but it was still low enough the healers could manage.)

I must agree, our group has done Haukke in ilv 60 before just 70 or higher would make it easier.
And final boss usually best to take on the left add and bring it down to about 25% health and move on to the next one or can get either a drg or Monk to lb

The adds are HP based and it seems like the boss gets ready to eat them when they reach a certain % then she eats them after a moment or so. It's possible with lesser-geared DPS you just need to be good with adds and as Maero said, focus on getting that set of double adds to low HP instead of to 0.

Copperbell is basically nothing but gimmick fights where DPS doesn't matter too much and the only issue with fresh-50 DPS would be running out of rocks at the end which shouldn't be too big of a deal as with even full DL dps you can finish with like 1-2-1/3 of the rocks remaining.

Even Pharos is do-able but the mechanics are likely too complicated for low iL parties unless they have had a lot of practice and are good at their job.

Got into Haukke HM today with a tank that was relatively poorly geared (Full AF1, HQ Mailbreaker and Darksteel shield/belt unmelded, PvP accessories and Masster GLA ring) and never ran the dungeon before. Ended up one shotting all the bosses. It's a miracle what a little coaching before a pull can do for undergeared players

i50-55 is really bad for Manor hard because it's very streamlined towards certain things.

A perfect group composition can do it, but a skewed one would be pounded their head against the wall. thankful getting suck a bad luck ilvl average is not that easy. You will usually have someone better and someone worse.

for low ilvl teams:
1: sch = crap... : because most of the dungeon and especially the last boss is all magical and burst-ish. without mdef protect, you are going to be hit harder then you want and getting healed never enough

2: Pld and brd, yes please : Since they are all casting and hp based, it's a protracted fight. As long as you can heal up, MP up and eat through it, you're fine. Otherwise crap. Silence is godly, and shield bash is next to spectacular since chain stunning adds isn't a resist problem (they die anyway)

3: LB when?: On normal group you meteor the twins or LB the the last add, for speed and safety, but what about a low ilvl group that can't make the 4 charm race? LB... Thus without a LB for the adds, you have to live through them with the jobs above.

High ilvl changes the strats but the fight is really unfair to certain job combinations if you can't hit the dps check, which is sad. Pld, whm, brd, (drg) is probably the "low level winner" for manor fight.

Adds is possible if all 4 people gang up on the adds, but given the amount of damage they dish out, tt's really hard on lower ilvls.

I've seen nothing in Copperbell that requires fast dps, and everything I've heard about Pharos is that it actually gets harder if you over-dps the boss. Haukke first two bosses still shouldn't be an issue; last boss might require saving some CDs, actually knowing how to play your job, and some extra stoneskin/succor from the healer.

You generally want to take the first boss down as fast as you can, lest you run out of room and he burns the whole bridge. Slow DPS whilst taking DoT from the fire can't end well.

Last boss is a DPS check. The other adds, if you don't kill them, cause decent AOE damage scaled to the HP they have left when the main boss absorbs them. These unavoidable AOEs may tax your healer. But the last add, I "think" it is death if it isn't fully killed. Maybe if you hold limit break until that add pops, maybe you can burn kill it in time.

Just done it today. I confirm that on 60's the other members and me 53, all gone smooth. The less dps respect overgeared means only I need to jump and run more time at last boss, that isn't a dps check but a whack-a-mole check. You are the mole!!!! :)

Yes, healer have much pressure there and needs do a lot of group heal.

Side note: as DPS, we were 2 BRD so none had a dps lb, and we done this without even using it.

lol I can't believe I just read three pages of people agreeing that the dungeon is too hard with ilvl 50s. Are you all terrible players or just that unwilling to slow down and teach the fight to newcomers?

Haukke HM won't be a cakewalk if your ilvl is in the 50s but all you need is a group willing to take it a bit slow.

--Take mobs one at a time. Especially if the Manor Warden is patrolling around.
--Make sure to kill the adds that spawn during the boss that puts on a lightshow. Also, stay away from the void portal as it will randomly blast people nearby.
--Last boss, focus on each add. Save your LB and CDs for this moment. Keep in mind that Blood Rain's damage only scales with how much HP they have left. It will not kill you outright if they are not totally down to 0. If you have a WHM, patching up the party will be easier. If you have a SCH, group together under Sacred Soil and pre-cast Succor + use all your fairy abilities Fey Illumination/Rouse/Whispering Dawn/Fey Covenant.

The people who left probably just wanted to speed run. I've done the dungeon as all three classes in various states of preparedness and have never lost. It's like people who take a look at your gear in Pharos and say "Nope, I'm outta here." The dungeons are all doable at their ilvl requirement. People who act like they aren't and leave are only looking to faceroll content to get their myth/philo/whatever in as little time as possible. The only place I can think of where you want to be overgeared is Ultima HM, mostly due to the high chance that people will make several otherwise fatal mistakes over the course of the fight due to the sheer number of mechanics at play.
