The first room of AV gives about 4k per mob with rested bonus and there's about 20 mobs in there making that a whopping 80k per pull. Only takes about 15 mins per pull so you can just enter then vote abandon, repeat.

Yeah I see people doing this in Party Finder and hope to try it. But the problem I'm having is running out of rested EXP in one run and that's with 20hrs+ per day. I Wont need to worry about it much longer have two jobs after my SCH left to level. But I wish they would double rested EXP bonus.
This is funny. You all whine about the dungeons in Roulette only being from 15-20. Now, you're all whining because you got what you wanted. It was clearly stated in the notes that the bonus experience you got after completing a Roulette was based on the difference of your level from the dungeon's level. So, yea, if you get a Cutter's Cry at level 38, you'll get crap bonus experience.
Why does SE's localization team suck this much? Is it really that hard to directly translate a line of text and not leave important details out? I'm starting to think these guys don't actually speak Japanese, and just break open a kanji dictionary and a vocab book for translations. Whatever they can't figure out, they just wing it.
The big chunk of XP was probably more noticeable before because prior to the patch changes it was very rare to see anything higher level than Ifrit story mode in the Roulette. As it's been pointed out above, people are getting higher level dungeons more often and the bonus is offset by the amount of XP you receive from killing normal mobs.
No.
Today, I dinged 50 WHM during a Tam-Tara on Roulette, and I received about 200k exp. I received less than that in earlier levels.
Only your interrogation points did get a (terrible) buff, OP.
Since I started the Thread and I don't think anyone was crying about anything. All I have to say is that, I wasn't crying before they "Fixed" Duty Roulette nor am I crying now. I've pretty much been doing them daily since 2.1 hit and I've always gotten decent EXP until today. So I never knew that the higher level dungeon the less Bonus EXP you get until today. That's why I asked if they nerfed it over night.
So easy fix Tomorrow or the days after that if I get a high level dungeon I'll leave.
The only thing which sucks about the Bonus EXP being lower is you lose EXP in the long run.
The Bonus EXP caps around 217k, that's the most I've gotten on a level 49 job.
So example
I got 68k today from a high level dungeon, But if I would have went to a lower level I would have gotten 120k+. Lets say 120k so I lost 52k from the Daily Bonus. I can run any dungeon at any time, So the amount of EXP from mobs doesn't matter.
I see what people are talking about with the Bonus being lower in higher level dungeons because you get more EXP, But if you want to maximize your daily DR then it is best to do a low level dungeon and then just spam a high level dungeon.
OK... the EXP sounds about right. I didn't have any jobs under 30 when 2.1 came around, But I think the bonus is 60k or 90k and just goes up from there maxing out at 200k+ Obviously depending on the dungeon.
Rested EXP, food effect, and manuals effect this as well (+50%, +50% up to 20,000EXP and +3%) then you have the Roulette bonus on top of that...
Maybe you ran out of Rested EXP.
Awesome attitude. It's a good way to nullify the entire reason Roulette was created in the first place. Don't worry, I sense a patch that will burn your Roulette for the day if a player just ups and leaves.
You miss the point of Roulette. It's not for you to get insane amounts of exp. It's to help out the newer players that actually need the clears.
This. This right here is the exact reason as to why we can't have nice things.
That's how I read it as well; however for things like Ifrit we obviously get less, so it's also possible that it's a pre-determined amount for each dungeon, i.e. for Sastasha, you have a list of EXP values for level 18-49, then for Tam-Tara you have another list for level 19-49, then for CbM another list for level 20-49 etc.
To their defense the original could have got changed and nobody thought better to give the localization team a heads up, while the rest of the team have their work so compartmentalized and disjoint that nobody realized the difference. You'll be surprised now may big, well-known international brands and established companies don't have any sort of proper localization workflow in place. Most likely Square Enix doesn't have a proper localization review workflow in place. It could also be that their localization team was instructed specifically to hide details from players so they went out of their way to translate it as such.
