Would you be upset if the game went offline?

why would i care if game was taken offline i dont pay to play it nor do i make this game my life

This game has no momentum right now. It barely has a playerbase. They practically need to jump start the game all over again.

what momentum?

If this game goes offline long term ill never come back, Diablo3 and whatever Blizzards new MMO will be will take up to much of m y time in the future.

They already designed the graphics to last the next 7+ or so years. Dont go getting too deep into your analogy. Its a pretty stupid one.

Honestly, the game has already lost enough that doing this really wouldn't cause that much harm. In my eyes at least, this would put SE in a position to bring the game back online and launch a 'revival' type program to invite all of it's original players to come back and see how the game has changed.

So long as that's a success, they will be in a position to push the console release(s) after getting a big patch or expansion pack put together. This entire idea would help the game to flow into it's second 'launch', and help bring momentum back to the table.

Are you saying that there have been no improvements done thus far? Any work that's been done to make the game better will be for nothing if you just shut the servers off for a year or two.
